Primary School Choir Brings Christmas Cheer

Whitecliffe House welcomed pupils from Blandford St Mary Primary School for a festive visit that brought music, laughter and shared enjoyment to residents, families and team members alike.
The children arrived full of enthusiasm and confidence, quickly filling the room with sound as they began their Christmas performance.
A varied programme included much-loved carols such as Away in a Manger, Santa Claus Is Coming to Town and Silent Night, with several pupils stepping forward to perform solo pieces.

Alongside the singing, the children delighted residents with a selection of Christmas jokes, delivered with charm and confidence.
Residents sat alongside loved ones and carers, fully engaged throughout the performance, with tapping feet and smiling faces reflecting the enjoyment in the room.

Companionship Team Leader Beccy said: “It was a lovely afternoon and a real pleasure to welcome the pupils into Whitecliffe House.
The children brought such energy and warmth, and it was wonderful to see how much our residents enjoyed sharing that time with them.”
As at all 21 Colten Care homes, Whitecliffe House actively encourages school visits as a way of bringing different generations together.
Beccy added that the school aims to make a return visit to the home in February 2026.
