Bourne View Raises Over £4,000 for Charity

Bourne View Care Home celebrated the success of their fundraising efforts with a cheque presentation to Bourne Community Hub, the home’s Charity of the Year 2025.

Thanks to the generosity of residents, families, staff, and visitors at the home’s summer and Christmas fayres, the home raised over £4,000.

Donna Crutcher from Bourne Community Hub attended the presentation on Friday and expressed her delight and surprise at the total. “I honestly thought it would be around £300–£400, so this is absolutely amazing,” she said.

The contribution will make a significant impact locally, providing approximately six months of funding for the Hub’s foodbank. The team at Bourne Community Hub will also consider how best to use the donation to develop new community projects, ensuring even more people benefit from their work.
