A Blooming Lovely Visit to Haskins Garden Centre

Residents at Bourne View enjoyed a wonderful afternoon exploring the beautiful displays at Haskins Garden Centre in Ferndown, making the most of the opportunity to spend time outdoors together.
Mike, June, Rosemary, Phyllis, Wendy, Angela and Myrtle enjoyed browsing the seasonal flowers and garden displays before relaxing with refreshments in the café. Along the way, residents took time to admire the colourful blooms, share stories and reminisce about their own gardening experiences.
Myrtle particularly enjoyed visiting the roses, which reminded her of her father’s pride in caring for his own rose garden. June also loved stopping to smell the flowers, with the scents bringing back many happy memories.
Despite the summer heatwave, everyone stayed comfortable by enjoying the shade and making use of the cool, air-conditioned minibus. A special thank you goes to Companions Richard and Natasha, along with Minibus Driver Nick, whose care and support helped make the outing such a memorable experience.
