A Day to Remember: Michael’s Trip to Boscombe Beach

Michael had always dreamed of visiting Boscombe Beach.

So, when our Companionship team offered to make it happen, and include his friends Mary, Wendy, and John from Bourne View, he jumped at the chance.

Despite the classic British weather (a little wind and a brief appearance from the sun), the group set off on a seaside adventure. With ice creams in hand, they strolled along the pier, taking in the view and watching swimmers brave the waves.

The highlight? A generous bite of whipped ice cream that landed more on Michael’s face than in his mouth, much to the amusement of his friends.

It was one of those simple, joy-filled days: sunshine, sea air, shared moments, and good company. A memory made, and one that will last.
