Charity Quiz Night

As popular as ever, our latest Charity Quiz Night drew lots of residents and visitors. 

We also welcomed some special guests: the ladies and gentlemen from ‘Poole Men’s Shed’, who started their evening with a traditional supper of a ‘Pie and a Pint.’  

Everyone was very friendly… until the quiz started! Then, it was each team for themselves. After a close first round, it was time for the drinks trolley. No tie breaker was needed for round two as this time, the quiz had clear winners: Margaret and John’s table. As you can imagine, they were thrilled – especially when they received their prizes. 

The Quiz Night is part of our fundraising campaign for Macmillan. We are looking forward to our coffee morning and cake sale coming up on September 27th and hope to have another great turnout!
