Coronation Celebrations

Bourne View had an eventful weekend filled with royal celebrations.

We gathered together to witness the Coronation of HRH King Charles III, raising our glasses of delightful Pimm’s and enjoying a scrumptious buffet-style lunch. As part of the festivities, we even watched the acclaimed film “The King’s Speech” and engaged in some fun Royal word games.

To continue the holiday spirit on Bank Holiday Monday, we hosted a spectacular High Tea Party. The talented Tyler James serenaded us with hits from all the decades, setting the perfect mood. Our tables were arranged in long rows, evoking the festive atmosphere of a street party. Vibrant decorations of confetti, balloons, props, and banners adorned the venue, with Union Jacks proudly displayed everywhere.

Indulging in delectable fruit cake, scones, and cucumber sandwiches, we savoured the flavours of a traditional high tea. The celebration reached its peak as we took to the dance floor and joined in a spirited sing-along, cherishing our favourite songs and creating lasting memories.
