Flowers, Flowers Everywhere
Our residents had a productive afternoon working on our garden’s living wall.
They had the task of arranging beautiful flowers and adding new bedding plants to the wall.
To everyone’s surprise, Tracey, who was visiting Irene, became the “Head Gardener” for the afternoon. It was unexpected, but she embraced the role helping residents with their gardening jobs.
At Bourne View, we are preparing to host the Seasons Produce Show, and we want flowers to be placed throughout the home. We came up with the idea of creating a “flower crown” on the living wall. A design was drawn with the colours of red, white, and blue. In the photograph, you can see all the residents “helpfully” pointing out where Tracey should plant each petunia. Thank you, Tracey!
It was a delightful and collaborative effort, and the result will surely add a touch of beauty to our living wall.
