Fun and Games

While some residents chose to relax and watch a Sunday matinee, others decided to pit their wits against each other and Companions in some friendly competition. 

Joan and Mary enjoyed playing each other in a Rummikub match. Both keen players, they played quickly and decisively, with Joan winning the first game, before Mary equalised and won the second. 

They paused for tea and cake before the deciding round… eventually, Joan regained her lead, winning the third game and the match! 

Meanwhile, on the next table, another match was unfolding – this time Scrabble, which Mike is famous for. 

Playing against Companion Julie, it was neck and neck for a while, but then Mike easily slipped into the lead and won the game. No wonder he is the Bourne View champion!
