Giant Balloon Tennis

Once a month, we host a ‘Balloon Tennis’ afternoon. We take turns moving chairs, working our way from the outermost chair to the middle, where the focus is on the balloon.

Then, we engage in trying to make the balloon hit the floor on the opposite side of the net to score points. This week, we added a twist to the game by using a GIANT balloon. Initially, it was quite challenging due to its different weight, but after a few attempts, we became pros, bouncing the balloon off the walls, across to the opposite team, off the floor, and everywhere else in sight.

We were so loud with laughter that our caregivers came in to see what was happening and took turns joining in. One of the caregivers laughed so much that she couldn’t play, giving the other team some easy points. Game on for next month!
