Guinea Pig Visit

Today at Bourne View the residents gathered in our large Sandbanks lounge for a lovely treat.

Our companion Corinne brought in her daughter Kate’s Guinea Pigs for all to meet. The animal’s run was brought in and placed on top of some newspaper. A couple of the pigs favourite hiding places were also placed inside to they would feel at home, along with some feed and cut up cucumber and peppers. The residents were really interested in where the pigs slept at night and what kind of hutches they had, and also whether they lived indoors or outside. Kate loves to name her Guinea Pigs after celebrities. We have Cilla Black, Flash Gordon, and Dolly Parton, as you can see our residents loved to have a hold and cuddle with the animals!  Altogether a lovely, relaxed afternoon spent at Bourne View.
