Happy 100th Birthday, John!

We had the pleasure of celebrating John’s remarkable milestone at Bourne View.

John’s daughters, Penny and Kathy, chose our Charleston Lounge for the celebrations, which has access to the patio area which has a lush wall of plant life, the perfect setting for the joyful gathering.

Penny had a brilliant idea to write to Buckingham Palace to see if they might send a card, and guess what? John received a card signed by ‘King Charles III and Queen Camilla’, probably making it one of the very first cards sent after the King’s recent Coronation.

The celebrations were filled with joy and love as many of Bourne View’s residents joined in to honour John’s special birthday. We also had a special guest attend, Mayor of Poole, Cllr. Tony Trent, who presented John with a card and gifts.
