Marble Cake

What better way is there to start a day than with the smell of fresh cakes baking? 

Residents got together this morning for our fortnightly cooking activity, and we decided we’d make a marble cake. 

Residents helped each other break eggs, mix the ingredients, and scoop it into tins. Then, the kitchen team baked the cakes for us over lunchtime – so they were ready in time for afternoon tea. 

It was fair to say everyone enjoyed it and we were all extremely impressed!
