Musical Moments

We began the day with a lively Music and Movement session, joined by Abner from Canford Chase.

Residents sang along to favourites like Hey Jude, Daisy, Daisy, and You Are My Sunshine — a wonderful way to lift spirits before lunch. Abner also treated us to a calming rendition of Canon, which created a peaceful moment of quiet reflection.

Later in the afternoon, a game of skittles brought lots of laughter and friendly competition. Afterwards, the guitar came out again for a spontaneous singalong. Jean, hearing the music from reception, joined in — and soon we were dancing, singing, and celebrating the simple joy of being together.
