Oh, What A Beautiful Day!

Oh, what a beautiful morning! Oh, what a beautiful day!

Friends, ice cream, and the New Forest—what more could we ask for? We took both a morning and an afternoon trip to Stoney Cross in the New Forest, and it has been our best trip this year!

We were greeted by cows, calves, horses, foals, deer, and donkeys. And the best bit of all… there was an ice-cream van. We sat and enjoyed a Mr Whippy with a flake while watching a beautiful pure black horse gallop around trying to find a friend to play with, cows looking after their young, and deer taking cover in the shade.

Although we couldn’t count the exact number of animals in sight, there were definitely more than fifty in total. This was a beautiful trip, thoroughly enjoyed by Joan, Penny, Molly, Jean, Kathleen, Janet, Zoe, and Karen.
