Picnic day

Residents marked International Picnic Day by preparing a selection of picnic favourites together, including sausage rolls, cheese twists and colourful fruit skewers.

The reception area was decorated with red-and-white checked bunting and a wicker picnic basket, creating a simple picnic scene to welcome everyone. Once the food was ready, residents gathered to enjoy the treats they had made, with plenty of conversation around the table as plates were soon emptied.

The afternoon continued with a picnic-themed quiz and a selection of word searches, bringing everyone together for a relaxed celebration centred around good food and good company.
