Out and about in Southbourne

Residents enjoyed lunch out on the south coast when we visited ‘The Spy Glass & Kettle’ in Southbourne, situated on the cliff top, with views over the sea.

We were seated at lovely table in the conservatory. French Onion soup was a popular choice, along with Chicken Goujons for starters, followed by Hunter’s Chicken, Fish & Chips or Macaroni Cheese. Temptation got the better of us when it was time for dessert, we had apple crumble & creamy custard, which went down a treat. After lunch we had a lovely trip to the New Forest, it was such a lovely day.
