Welcome to the Bourne View Alfie!

Friday morning was a morning filled with so many emotions, love & laughter.

Our resident Tess has non-stop been telling everyone that she has a new great-grandson for the past few days and one day she hopes to see him. Friday was that day! Tess’s daughter arranged with her nephew to come along to Bourne View with the new addition to the family so Tess would be able to meet him in person. Tess’s family drove down from Cornwall which we were told was a lovely Journey and 11 day old Baby Alfie slept nearly the whole way. They arrived at Bourne View a little after 11am and before they could even get in the door staff were greeting them with “aww” “look at him” “he is so cute”. After the staff calmed down and left them be, our companion took them down to Tess’s room where as soon as we opened door Tess was stopped in her trail of thought, Tess held her hands out immediately and took Baby Alfie for a lovely warm cuddle with his Great-Grandmother! I can assure you there were tears of joys, a memorable silence and we are so thrilled to have caught this beautiful moment on camera!
