Wow What A Day!

Celebrating a 107th birthday is a remarkable achievement, and we spared no effort in making it special.

Balloons adorned the venue, banners proudly displayed, and invitations extended to family, friends, and fellow residents, creating an atmosphere filled with joy and laughter. Glasses clinked, and a meticulously crafted cake was joyfully cut, accompanied by spirited renditions of ‘Happy Birthday.’

In the heart-warming image, you can witness the incredible Yvonne engaged in lively conversation with her great, great, great nieces, surrounded by ‘107’ helium balloons.

A focal point of the celebration was Yvonne’s cake, artfully shaped as the ‘Glover Buoy,’ a channel marker named in her honour, visible in the waters of our very own Poole Harbour.

The afternoon was a resounding success, leaving everyone in high spirits.
