On Monday the Bourne View companionship team took the residents on a mini bus trip to Longham Lakes not far from Fernhill Care Home. Longham lakes was once a quarry and then it was turned into an area for the National Trust. The two lakes are full of incredible wildlife, birds, Swans, Cormorant’s, Coots, and baby black Swans. The residents enjoyed sipping their tea whilst taking in the breath taking views of the lakes. The residents were then taken on a magical mystery tour round Wimborne before heading back. Longham Lakes is wonderful day out and recommend it for the future.
