A Visit from Bailey

Residents were delighted by a visit from Bailey, a young puppy currently being trained to become a guide dog.

Brought in by a member of our team who’s caring for Bailey as part of her respite fostering, the visit offered both joy and insight.

Residents had the chance to meet Bailey up close, ask questions about her training journey, and watch a short film showing how guide dogs are prepared for their important future roles. Bailey also visited a few dog-loving residents in their rooms, spreading even more happiness.

Gentle, calm, and beautifully behaved, Bailey was a truly welcome guest — and a reminder of the extraordinary bond between people and animals.
