Artists At Work

Using seasonal objects to inspire our recent still life paintings and drawings.

The display included the first of the horse chestnuts to fall, recently shed eucalyptus bark, moss, and apples. Ula chose to paint in watercolours and Brian sketched in pencil. Barbara and Doreen decided to use stencils to create their pictures in coloured pencils – of roses, and a bicycle.

The artists were incredibly focused but still supported each other with kind words and fun ideas. Everyone enjoyed viewing the finished artwork.
