Braemar Lodge Summer BBQ

Our residents and their families enjoyed a wonderful BBQ this afternoon—despite the weather, which varied from bright sunshine to blustery drizzle!

This didn’t put our lovely residents off; we had 32 people in attendance, with 11 guests accompanying them. Everyone was offered a Pimm’s or a refreshing soft drink to start, followed by a beautifully presented meal of burgers, sausages, chicken, fresh salad items, and new potatoes. This was then topped off with strawberries and cream—mmm, delicious!

There was a picture-based quiz, tabletop and garden games, a raffle, and a singalong to complete the enjoyable afternoon. Everyone agreed it was a memorable event and thanked all those involved in organising and hosting.
