Cheese and Wine
For our latest evening event, we had a Cheese and Wine Social, in the library after supper.
Ten residents attended, along with two resident guests. There was a choice of Italian organic red and white wines, Pimm’s and lemonade, and soft drinks. Cheese-wise, we had Brie, Emmental, a blue cheese, and a blackberry and apple cheddar, the latter of which was new to everyone, and which was very tasty! There were lovely conversations in small groups, and much appreciation for a wonderful end to the day.
