Dinner at the Greyhound Inn

The residents have shown quite a bit of interest in trying out a local restaurant for dinner, and when the opportunity came up to visit the Greyhound Inn at Wilton, Brian, Catherine, and Marlene were eager to join in.
We set off early, enjoying a scenic drive through the countryside, which was refreshed by a recent spot of rain, creating a pleasant and cool atmosphere. Excitement filled the air as the residents chatted about the menu options and recalled previous visits to the Inn.
Upon reaching the Greyhound Inn, we were promptly seated and wasted no time in placing orders for our chosen drinks to complement our meals. The conversations flowed easily as we clinked our glasses and eagerly awaited our main courses. The meals arrived, and we couldn’t help but express our delight with a chorus of “ooh’s” and “ahh’s.” Each dish was cooked to perfection, and the flavours were simply delightful.
After savouring the delicious food and enjoying each other’s company, we left the Inn with satisfied smiles and hearts full of joy. On the journey back, we even sang “Molly Malone” at the top of our voices, thanks to Nick, our skilled and entertaining driver. Marlene summed it up perfectly when she said, “Will we go again?… You bet!” And we all agreed that it was a wonderful experience worth repeating.
