Festive Fun

We have some talented musicians amongst our visitors to Braemar Lodge.

Two of them recently offered to come and perform for us in the run up to Christmas. We had Simon playing carols and sea shanties on the harp. The following day, Christina, an opera singer, joined us with her accompanist Mike, and our own Graham, who sang some duets with Christina. There was a mixture of arias, festive songs and Christmas carols, with residents joining in the latter. It was a special afternoon, with lots of positive comments from the residents, and which ended with refreshments – including bucks fizz!
