International Women’s Day

To mark International Women’s Day, we spent time discussing important female influences in our lives.

Residents came with a range of admirable women were brought to talk about, including special women such as mothers, wives, and aunts.

Other residents chose historical figures. Diana spoke of the nurse Edith Cavell who was particularly notable for her brave work in WWI. While Ula shared her first meeting and subsequent friendship with Christabel Burniston MBE.
