Knitting For A Cause

At Braemar Lodge, we are already busy preparing for Remembrance Sunday.

Residents, family members, staff and friends have been knitting, crocheting and sewing poppies to be displayed outside our new extension in November.

We recently held a Tea and Togetherness afternoon, arranged by our Customer Support Advisor Claire, where visitors joined residents to be creative over tea and carrot cake. Our guests included former respite residents, and a group from Annie’s Woolers in Wilton.

Janet is still our champion poppy knitter, having made a great number already!
