Art is a big draw at Braemar Lodge, and we recently had an open Arts and Crafts session.
Residents could choose what kind of artistic endeavour they wished to pursue.
Some wished to make cards using stickers and embellishments.
Others picked colouring in pictures, for which they used pastels, pencils or watercolours.
Also chosen was painting of a woodland scene, or a group of birds, or freestyle watercolour painting.
People appreciated the opportunity to do their own thing, and there was much quiet focus. A lovely creative afternoon.
