Minibus Trip

We made a welcome return trip to Eyeworth Pond located near Fritham in the New Forest, Hampshire.

The pond was created by damming Latchmore Brook, with the purpose of supplying water to nearby Schultze gunpowder factory.

Today Eyeworth pond is a wonderful place to sit and enjoy your favourite beverage, surrounded by ancient woodland. We watched dragonflies skimming the pond and the Mandarin ducks, we are not sure what the fish were though. Everyone agreed a super place to visit, it is so peaceful and beautiful. Once again we are thankful for our driver Nick for finding all the best places to enjoy.
