Poppies

This afternoon we all spent some time making poppies for our poppy display in November

We have started early to make as many poppies as we can! Today we prioritised cutting out felt circles, ready to be glued together to create the poppy shape. We had residents getting involved with each stage whilst chatting together. Some residents were knitting poppies too and teaching members of staff how to follow the pattern! It was lovely to hear about the clothes that residents have knitted in the past and the stories that went with them.
