Spring Blooms at Braemar Lodge

Residents enjoyed a “green-fingered” afternoon planting spring bulbs to brighten their rooms and the home.
Windowsill pots were filled with narcissi and hyacinths, giving everyone the chance to take part, while hyacinth bulbs in water vases were prepared for residents with more limited dexterity.
Working together, the group shared conversation, laughter and a sense of achievement as the bulbs were carefully planted. The activity offered a gentle connection with nature and a reminder of the changing seasons, helping residents feel engaged and uplifted. By the end of the afternoon, the home was buzzing with anticipation for the first signs of spring and the promise of fresh, fragrant blooms to come.
