Volunteers Week

To celebrate Volunteer Week, residents surprised our dedicated Companionship Team volunteer, Sue.

They presented her with a gift, a heartfelt card, and a well-deserved round of applause in appreciation of everything she does for us at Braemar Lodge.

Sue has been part of the Braemar family for seventeen years, ever since her mother lived here, and she’s been volunteering with us for the past three and a half years. She generously gives her time at least twice a week, as well as during special events.

Sue runs a regular classical music club and is fantastic at organising tabletop games — both of which are much loved by our residents.

We’re so grateful for everything she brings to our community. Sue is truly a valued member of our team.
