Brook View’s Hedgehog Craft

We’re gearing up for the upcoming ‘Produce Show’ here at Brook View, and our theme for the winter season is hedgehogs.

In our arts and crafts session, we got creative and made hedgehog coasters using card, napkins, and felt to back them.

Dorothy, who’s a sprightly 103 years old, particularly enjoyed this activity and ended up making seven coasters herself.

She fondly shared that she always used to have hedgehogs visiting her garden.

Iona chimed in, reminiscing about a time when a hedgehog got stuck in her garage and had little hoglets.

It was a delightful session filled with memories and creativity, and we’re excited to showcase our hedgehog-themed creations at the upcoming show.
