Celebrating Native American Culture

Today, our newest Companion Keanu prepared a presentation about Native American culture. 

Our residents recently expressed they would appreciate more speakers and presentations at Brook View, so Keanu took the opportunity to share details about his own heritage. 

Keanu shared information about many aspects of Native American culture – including music, art, and food. He then serenaded residents with a performance using a Native American flute. 

Pam and Trevor also reminisced about the time they had travelled to the Grand Canyon in America, as this is where Keanu’s tribe is from.
