Nigel Wows the Crowds!

On a beautiful sunny day, residents gathered in the lounge in anticipation, eagerly awaiting Nigel, to entertain us with his voice and guitar.

Music filled the air and even the doors were open onto the outside patio with residents also listening outside. We were able to join in with the very well-known songs from various decades including Summer Holiday, Catch a Falling Star, Moon River, Let Me Go Home, and many more. With the Morecambe and Wise song ‘Bring Me Sunshine,’ Companion Elizabeth entertained the crowd with the typical dance they did at the end of their show, which brought much laughter.

The hour went by far too quickly and residents were hoping it would not be long before Nigel was able to return to entertain us with his very sensitive singing and playing. What a glorious afternoon we all had!
