Snakes & Ladders

Though often considered a children’s board game, Iona and her team thoroughly enjoyed playing the floor version of Snakes and Ladders.

Patience prevailed as some of us, landing on the dreaded snakes, found ourselves almost back at the start.

However, the team also experienced the thrill of climbing the ladders. After a lot of perseverance, Mary, another team member, successfully threw the correct number to reach 100, just in time for the tea trolley’s arrival!

Barbara demonstrated a remarkable skill in consistently throwing sixes, earning her additional turns, although, regrettably, she wasn’t on the winning team and found herself back at the beginning after encountering another snake.

Despite the twists and turns, great fun was had by all who participated in today’s lively game.
