The festive flute!

Today the residents had an afternoon of listening to Companion Jo playing festive Flute pieces.

Jo always likes to throw in a curve ball and introduce the residents to new pieces of music as well as their old favourites. She doesn’t tell them where the piece is from so they can decide if they like it without bias! All agreed that ‘Believer’ from ‘The Polar Express’ was a beautiful piece and they enjoyed the jazziness of ‘You’re a Mean One Mr Grinch’! New resident, Dorothy, loved the old traditional Carols and sang along enthusiastically. A very festive afternoon!
