The Wimbledon Crowd

Over the past two weeks, while following this historic sporting event, we enjoyed tennis quizzes, facts, games, and even had a fun appearance from Andy Murray, thanks to Jo, who dressed up as him.

Pam, who has been closely following the tennis, enjoyed both the women’s and men’s finals while savouring strawberries and cream, accompanied by a cheeky glass of fizz. “I remember going to watch Wimbledon one year, and all it did was rain!” exclaimed Pam. She continued to express how lovely it was to sit with friends and soak in the atmosphere.

Residents were thrilled with the results of both finals. We are now looking forward to Wimbledon 2025 and hoping for more sunshine next year!
