Canford Chase Host Country-Themed Celebration

Residents, families and friends at Canford Chase Care Home in Poole marked the changing of the seasons with a lively country-themed party.

Donning Stetsons and jeans, guests gathered for an afternoon of music, dancing and community spirit at the home’s “Yee Haw” celebration.

Live entertainment was provided by local singer Suzie Anne, who performed classic favourites including Dolly Parton’s 9 to 5, John Denver’s Take Me Home, Country Roads and hits by Patsy Cline.

The music had residents and visitors singing along and dancing well into the afternoon.

“It was wonderful to see everyone enjoying themselves and really getting into the country theme,” said Vicky, Companion Team Leader at Canford Chase. “Bringing families and the local community together like this is what makes these events so special.”

Staff described the gathering as one of the highlights of the month, bringing a taste of country fun to Poole and giving residents a memorable way to say farewell to summer and welcome the autumn.
