Canford Chase Celebrates National Ice Cream Day

Residents at Canford Chase marked National Ice Cream Day with a visit from Mikey’s Ice Cream Van, enjoying a traditional summer treat together in the sunshine.

With the warm weather providing the perfect backdrop, residents and team members gathered outside to choose from a wide selection of ice creams, with plenty of flavours, toppings and sizes to suit every taste.

The visit created a relaxed and sociable atmosphere as residents spent time chatting, listening to summertime favourites and cooling down with their chosen treats. For many, the familiar sight and sound of the traditional ice cream van also sparked happy memories of summers gone by.

Companion Team Leader Vicky said: “National Ice Cream Day gave us the perfect excuse to spend time together outdoors and enjoy one of everyone’s favourite summer treats. It was wonderful to see residents relaxing in the sunshine, chatting with one another and making the most of such a lovely afternoon.”
