100 Years Young

The wonderful Joan celebrated her 100th Birthday in style.

Joan is youthful at heart and describes herself as a lover, not a hater. She enjoys the company of others and can often be found in the reception area, welcoming newcomers to Canford Chase.

Joan didn’t desire a grand party or event, so we put on our thinking caps and decided to make her feel like royalty for the day. We hung decorations, blew up balloons, and displayed banners to mark this incredible milestone. Joan had one special request: a donut tower to share with her friends. To Joan’s surprise, her nephew and niece showed up on her special day, and throughout the day, her friends joined in the celebration.

As we raised our glasses to toast Joan’s 100th birthday and wish her the happiest of days, Joan became emotional and expressed her gratitude to everyone for making the day so special. She even jokingly mentioned seeing us all at her 200th birthday bash!
