A Visit To Poole Yacht Club

Our residents had a nostalgic outing to the prestigious Poole Yacht Club where we were accompanied by our Home Manager Charlotte Wilson.

The morning was filled with refreshments, chocolate, and cherished memories, as the group reminisced about loved ones and their passion for sailing and other conversations.

This trip to the Yacht Club was a special treat organised by Canford Chase to provide our residents to relive those fond memories, especially for Myra who couldn’t believe the view and was talking to the group about where her boat used to be moored and told us about how, together, with her husband enjoyed sailing around Brownsea Island.

The event was concluded with a heartfelt thank you from Residents and Colten Cares staff expressing their gratitude to the Poole Yacht Club.

We look forward to organising more trips like this again in the future for our residents to enjoy.
