A Visit to Stewarts Garden Centre

Residents recently enjoyed a drive to Stewarts Garden Centre in Christchurch, spending time browsing the festive displays and Christmas decorations.
Anne commented on how easy it would be to spend hours there — and “a small fortune,” she added.
During their walk around, residents came across a miniature Christmas village, complete with a fairground and illuminated rides, which drew plenty of interest. They also stopped at a display of animated festive characters, pressing the button to set off a round of Christmas songs and joining in with a singalong.
The visit finished with tea and cake in the café, with choices ranging from Victoria sponge to coffee and walnut cake. Everyone agreed it was a thoroughly enjoyable outing.
