Baking A Raspberry Pie

This afternoon, our residents helped make a delicious raspberry pie together.

Residents enjoyed each individual stage, from breaking the biscuits up to helping whip the cream by hand: which was a task in itself!

Angela beautifully piped cream swirls on to the cake and told us how she used to enjoy baking cakes at home. This brought back fond memories for everyone, and it was lovely to reminisce.

After the pie was ready, we all tried a slice; the unanimous decision was that it was our best work yet.
