Bringing the Winter Olympics to Canford Chase

To kick off the Winter Olympics, residents at Canford Chase enjoyed a lively Snowboard Show & Tell.

Companion Justin donned full snowboard gear — helmet, goggles, boots and all — to give a hands-on demonstration.

Residents were fascinated to learn how a snowboard works, why layers and safety equipment are essential, and they shared memories of snowy holidays and favourite cold-weather traditions. Questions flew, laughter filled the room, and everyone got involved in the interactive session.

It was a brilliant way to capture the excitement of the Winter Games without braving the cold outside. Residents left the morning smiling, inspired, and full of stories to share.
