Canford Chase In Lights

We adore our garden here at Canford Chase—it offers an escape from the hustle and bustle, regardless of the weather.

Before Christmas, companionships and Tracey, our gardener, engaged in conversations with the residents about our favourite winter activities—things we did, do, and still enjoy.

A common theme was visiting garden centres, being in the garden, and witnessing the emergence of Christmas lights, creating a picturesque scene.

So, we decided to come together and transform the garden into a wonderland of light, conjuring up new memories and bringing back the magic of the recent festive period.

Although the lights were unfortunately postponed in December, as they say, the show must go on.

Many residents and families who joined us remarked on how lovely and magical it all looked—a sparkling revival of the Christmas spirit.

Smiles and conversations flowed, filled with memories both old and new. “It’s like Christmas, but even more magical!” exclaimed Marion.
