Chinese New Year

Its time to celebrating Chinese New Year.

We started by putting all the decorations up, all around the lounge. Then after lunch we all sat round the table in the lounge and designed and created our very own Chinese Lanterns. We spoke about all the ways we could design our lanterns. Our lanterns were displayed in the lounge for everyone to see.

We then enjoyed having a taste of China, we had lots of different food such as duck spring rolls, vegetable spring rolls, chicken goujons and sticky chicken on skewers, which Betty said she really enjoyed and would like to see them on the menu. We tried three different sauces which were sweet chilli, hoisin sauce and teriyaki sauce with a mixture of prawn crackers and Thai inspired crisps.
