Coronation Celebrations

We celebrated the Coronation of King Charles III in true British style with a street party lunch.

Although the weather wasn’t on our side, it didn’t dampen our spirits! We kicked off the day by decorating the lounge and dining room while watching the coronation ceremony.

The drinks were flowing, and the flags were waving. We all got into the festive spirit by donning our hats and crowns, and enjoying a delightful tuck shop filled with delicious treats. Our team leader, Vicky, gave a wonderful toast before we dug into our themed buffet lunch, and we all raised a cheer to the King!

As the music started, everyone was smiling, chatting, and laughing, making it a truly unforgettable day. Despite the rain, we had a fantastic time, and it was an honour to be a part of such a joyous celebration.
