Flower Pot Heads

A recent visit to the garden centre led to a new crafting project after residents spotted a collection of novelty seats and brightly coloured plant pots. Back at the home, the ideas quickly turned into flower pot characters, with residents shaping faces, arranging details and discussing where each one might eventually sit in the garden.

Brian and Roger enjoyed the first session so much that a second afternoon was arranged to create a few more additions to the collection. Two new “ladies”, named Marilyn and June, have since joined the group and are waiting to be planted with flowers ahead of the summer fayre, where they will be available for sale. As Brian put it: “Such a lovely novelty idea as a gift.”
