Exploring the Titanic at SeaCity Museum

Residents enjoyed a sunny minibus outing to the SeaCity Museum in Southampton to explore the Titanic exhibition.

Inside the museum, the group discovered recreations of shipboard arcades, including a fortune teller table and slot games, before exploring the first exhibition stage about the captain, crew, and fellow passengers — many of whom were young and from Southampton.

Residents then learned about the ship’s construction, cabin classes, storage, and daily life on board, and even experienced steering the vessel and controlling its speed. The visit provided insight into the lives of those aboard and sparked thoughtful discussions, making for a fascinating and memorable excursion.
